About the Journal

Indonesian Journal of Islamic Education (IJIE) is a peer-reviewed academic journal published by the Department of Islamic Religious Education, Universitas Majalengka, Indonesia. IJIE provides an academic forum for researchers, lecturers, educators, practitioners, and scholars to disseminate original research and scholarly discussions in the field of Islamic education.

IJIE focuses on research and academic studies related to Islamic education, including Islamic Religious Education, curriculum and pedagogy, assessment and evaluation, educational technology and digital learning, teacher education and professional development, educational management and leadership, Islamic character and moral education, early childhood Islamic education, educational innovation, Islamic education policy, and contemporary issues in Islamic education.

The journal accepts original research articles, systematic literature reviews, and conceptual studies that demonstrate originality, methodological rigor, theoretical contribution, and relevance to the development of Islamic education.

All submitted manuscripts undergo an initial editorial screening and a double-blind peer-review process by at least two independent reviewers. The editorial decision is based on the quality, originality, methodological rigor, relevance, and academic contribution of the manuscript.

Indonesian Journal of Islamic Education (IJIE) is published three times a year, in April, August, and November, and is available through an open-access publishing model.
