About the Journal

Indonesian Journal of Islamic Education (IJIE) is a peer-reviewed academic journal published by the Islamic Religious Education Study Program, Universitas Majalengka, Indonesia. IJIE provides a scholarly platform for disseminating high-quality research, educational innovations, and critical perspectives on contemporary issues in Islamic education.

The journal welcomes original research articles, systematic literature reviews, and conceptual studies that contribute to the development of Islamic education theory, practice, policy, and innovation.

IJIE covers a broad range of topics in Islamic education, including Islamic Religious Education, Islamic education curriculum, learning and pedagogy, educational technology, assessment and evaluation, teacher education and professional development, educational management, Islamic character and moral education, early childhood Islamic education, digital Islamic education, and contemporary issues in Islamic education.

IJIE is committed to maintaining academic quality through a rigorous editorial process and double-blind peer-review system. All submitted manuscripts are evaluated based on their originality, academic contribution, methodological rigor, relevance to the journal's focus and scope, and quality of discussion.

The journal is published three times a year, in April, August, and November, and accepts manuscripts written in Indonesian or English.
