Kepemimpinan Transformasional Dalam Meningkatkan Kinerja Layanan Pendidikan

Kepemimpinan transformasional telah diakui sebagai salah satu faktor penting dalam meningkatkan kinerja layanan pendidikan. Dalam konteks pendidikan, kepemimpinan transformasional melibatkan pemimpin yang mampu menginspirasi dan memotivasi para profesional pendidikan untuk mencapai hasil yang lebih baik dan mendorong inovasi dalam penyediaan layanan pendidikan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui peran kepemimpinan transformasional dalam meningkatkan kinerja layanan pendidikan. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode pendekatan kualitatif. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di SMPN 1 Purwakarta dengan sumber data adalah kepala sekolah dan para guru. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui kajian literatur yang relevan dengan isu kepemimpinan dalam pendidikan. Data dianalisis dengan menggunakan langkah-langkah reduksi data, penyajian data dan menarik kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa Kepala SMPN 01 Purwakarta berhasil mengimplementasikan kepemimpinan transformasional dalam meningkatkan layanan pendidikan di sekolah dengan membangun visi yang kuat, memotivasi partisipasi, mendorong inovasi, membangun kapasitas, dan menciptakan budaya pembelajaran yang kolaboratif. Kepemimpinan transformasional mampu menciptakan visi yang jelas dan membangun hubungan yang kuat dengan staf pendidikan. Kepala sekolah mampu mengkomunikasikan tujuan dan nilai-nilai organisasi secara efektif, menggerakkan perubahan yang diperlukan, dan memberdayakan anggota tim untuk berpartisipasi aktif dalam meningkatkan kualitas layanan pendidikan.
