Abstrak

This research is a review article on the use of quick response (QR) Code electronic identification cards (eID) in biology learning. Biology material includes sciences related to the surrounding environment. In understanding biological material, it is necessary to have a search through observation activities. This needs to be addressed by educators to design learning using a set of media or applications that can assist in learning biology. One effort to help students understand biology material, especially on plant identification, is learning biology with the help of quick response electronic card technology (QR) Code which contains data, information and learning about biology material on the concept of plant identification through smartphones by scanning this eID card to get material information. QR Code has the ability to store much larger data and this can be used to identify plants in biological material.
