Implementatıon Of Thengul Dance In Class Iv Scıence Learnıng To Improve Socıal Skılls In Elementary Schools

This study aims to describe the implementation of Thengul Dance in Natural and Social Sciences (IPAS) learning with the theme of Indonesian Cultural Wealth at Sumberjokidul Elementary School, Bojonegoro Regency, and to analyze its influence on improving social skills. The research method used is descriptive qualitative with data collection techniques through observation and documentation. The research subjects included fourth grade students. The results of the study indicate that the contextual application of Thengul Dance in IPAS learning is able to improve social skills. In addition, this activity also contributes to the achievement of Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), especially SDG 4 (Quality Education) and SDG 11 (Sustainable Cities and Communities), by fostering awareness of cultural preservation from an early age. Thus, the implementation of Thengul Dance can be an effective strategy in integrating traditional arts and character education into contextual-based IPAS learning in elementary schools.
