Application of The Interval Training method based on Maximum Aerobic Speed capacity Towards increasing Anaerobic capacity

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh metode latihan interval berbasis Maximum Aerobic Speed (MAS) terhadap peningkatan kapasitas anaerobik atlet futsal putri di Universitas Pendidikan Indonesia. Latar belakang penelitian ini didasarkan pada kebutuhan akan strategi latihan yang tepat yang mampu mengembangkan sistem energi anaerobik alaktik dan laktik secara bersamaan. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode eksperimen dengan desain one-group pretest-posttest, yang melibatkan sampel 16 atlet berusia 18–21 tahun yang dipilih melalui purposive sampling. Intervensi dilakukan selama delapan minggu (16 sesi latihan), dibagi menjadi kelompok latihan interval pendek dan kelompok latihan interval panjang berdasarkan MAS. Instrumen pengukuran meliputi Running-Based Anaerobic Sprint Test (RAST) untuk kapasitas anaerobik laktik dan 5m × 4 Shuttle Run untuk kapasitas anaerobik alaktik. Data dianalisis menggunakan uji-t sampel berpasangan setelah uji normalitas Shapiro–Wilk. Hasil menunjukkan peningkatan yang signifikan pada kedua variabel (p = 0,000). Rata-rata waktu penyelesaian RAST menurun dari 42,58 detik menjadi 39,17 detik, sementara waktu Shuttle Run menurun dari 6,84 detik menjadi 6,42 detik, disertai dengan penurunan deviasi standar, yang menunjukkan peningkatan konsistensi performa. Temuan ini menegaskan bahwa kombinasi latihan interval berbasis MAS pendek dan panjang efektif dalam meningkatkan kapasitas anaerobik. Penelitian ini berkontribusi pada pengembangan model latihan berbasis bukti untuk mengoptimalkan performa atlet dalam olahraga intermiten intensitas tinggi dan memberikan rekomendasi praktis bagi pelatih dalam merancang program latihan yang tepat dan efisien.
