PENERAPAN POMPA HIDRAM DI DESA PUTERAN KECAMATAN CIKALONG WETAN KABUPATEN BANDUNG BARAT

Abstract

Desa Puteran Kecamatan Cikalong Wetan Kabupaten Bandung Barat merupakan daerah yang memiliki lahan pertanian dan hutan cukup luas hampir 75 % sisanya sudah dialih fungsikan sebagai tempat tinggal. Sumber mata air yang sangat banyak disii lain posisi tempat tinggal/masyarakat lebih tinggi dari sumber mata air yang ada, sehingga membutuhkan alat untuk menaikkan air dari bawah keatas. Pompa merupakan alat untuk menaikan air dari bawah keatas serta tekanan air, dimana pompa hidram mempunyai kelebihan tanpa menggunakan/membutuhkan energi listrik karena pompa hidram memanfaatkan tenaga aliran air yang jatuh. Jarak sumber mata air dengan rumah warga hingga 6 meter dengan ketinggian 2 meter. Setelah didesain, dibuat dan dipasang menghasilkan debit aliran air hingga 0,04 m3/menit. Kegiatan ini selain memasang pompa hidram juga dilakukan pelatihan pemeliharaan untuk pompa hidram bagi masyarakat Desa Puteran.
