Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh kepemimpinan kepala sekolah terhadap prestasi akademik siswa dengan kualitas proses pembelajaran sebagai variabel mediasi. Pendekatan penelitian yang digunakan adalah kuantitatif dengan desain Structural Equation Modeling Partial Least Squares (SEM-PLS). Subjek penelitian mencakup seluruh guru di SMP Muhammadiyah 5 Kota Tangerang. Data dikumpulkan melalui kuesioner dan dianalisis menggunakan evaluasi outer model, inner model, serta uji mediasi dengan teknik bootstrapping. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kepemimpinan kepala sekolah berpengaruh signifikan terhadap prestasi akademik siswa, baik secara langsung maupun tidak langsung melalui kualitas proses pembelajaran. Temuan ini menegaskan pentingnya peran kepala sekolah sebagai pemimpin pembelajaran (instructional leader) dalam menciptakan iklim belajar yang efektif dan mendukung peningkatan mutu pendidikan. Penelitian ini berkontribusi dalam memperkuat literatur kepemimpinan pendidikan dan memberikan implikasi praktis bagi peningkatan kualitas manajemen sekolah.
