Abstract
Every mass media has a strategy to shape readers' opinions which in this case is called framing. Media framing can shape how readers understand, assess, and interpret information. The purpose of this study was to determine Entman's framing analysis in the news "Reviewing More Deeply: Behind Shin-Tae Yong's Dismissal from the Indonesian National Team Coach Chair" in the media bola.net which includes four aspects of framing including defining problems, diagnosing causes, making moral judgments, and treatment recommendations. This type of research is qualitative research. Based on the results of the framing analysis of the news of Shin Tae-yong's dismissal, the media bola.net defined the problem as an urgent need to improve the performance of the Indonesian National Team in order to achieve a big target, namely qualifying for the World Cup. The main causes raised include suboptimal strategies, hampered communication, and suboptimal program implementation. Morally, PSSI's decision is narrated as the right and responsible step for the sake of national football. The solution offered is the appointment of a new coach who is able to bring fresh strategies, effective communication, and better program implementation for the progress of the Indonesian National Team.
