Pengaruh Model Pembelajaran Argument Driven Inquiry (ADI) Terhadap Penguasaan Konsep dan Kemampuan Argumentasi Siswa Pada Materi Sistem Reproduksi

Abstrak

This study aims to analyze the effect of implementation ADI towards high school students concept mastery and argumentation skills in the reproductive system, specifically on the sub material impact of promiscuity, abnormality of the human reproductive system, and technology on the human reproductive system. This research was grounded by students situation who still have low argumentation skills and low mastery concept on this material. The research method used in this study is quasi-experimental and non-equivalent control group design. The sample of this research was eleven grade students at one of the senior high schools in Sumedang, consisting of 26 experimental class students and 26 control class students. The instruments used in this study were multiple-choice questions for concepts mastery test, an essay question for the argumentation skills test, and students response towards ADI. Based on the analysis, the data are obtained used t-test of the between pretest and post-test result. The research findings show that there is Sig. 2 tailed in the amount of 0,39 which is bigger than (α=0,05). Meanwhile,  The result showed the implementation of ADI learning model is no significantly affected the students concept mastery in the reproductive system material in the experiment class compared to the control class. However, the result showed the implementation of ADI learning model is significantly affected the students argumentation skills. Students response data was showed that they respond very well to the implementation of the ADI learning model. The conlucion of ADI learning model has no significant effect on mastery of concepts but has significant effect the students argumentation skill.
