Abstract

This community service activity aims to improve the scientific writing skills of high school students in grade XI through training integrated with the Mendeley application. The training was carried out in the form of lectures, discussions and direct practice for two days. The materials presented included the definition, structure of scientific papers, writing citations, research methods and practice using Mendeley. The results of the evaluation through a questionnaire showed that the training participants gave a positive response to the KTI writing training assisted by the Mendeley application. Participants felt helped in understanding the basic concepts of scientific writing, ∆developing ideas, and managing reference sources digitally using Mendeley. This training has proven effective in providing students with an understanding of scientific papers and developing basic scientific writing skills.
