Abstract

This community service activity aims to provide counseling and training to farmers in processing goat waste into organic fermented fertilizers that have economic value and benefits. The location for the implementation of this service activity is in Karya Tunggal Village, Katibung District, Lampung Regency with the target partner being a group of goats. The method used in this activity consists of counseling and direct training/practice in the field of making solid and liquid organic fermented fertilizers. From the results of the activities that have been carried out, it was found that there was an increase in the knowledge and skills of partners in processing goat cage waste into organic fermented fertilizer. Then after the training activities, there are products from processing goat cage waste in the form of solid organic fermented fertilizers and liquid organic fermented fertilizers that are ready to be applied and marketed. With this service activity, it is able to have an impact on the family income of the goat group

Abstrak

Kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk memberikan penyuluhan dan pelatihan kepada peternak dalam mengolah limbah ternak kambing menjadi pupuk fermentasi organik yang memiliki nilai ekonomis dan manfaat. Lokasi pelaksanaan kegiatan pengabdian ini berada di Desa Karya Tunggal, Kecamatan Katibung, Kabupaten Lampung dengan mitra sasaran adalah kelompok ternak kambing. Metode yang digunakan dalam kegiatan ini terdiri dari penyuluhan dan pelatihan/praktek langsung dilapangan pembuatan pupuk fermentasi organik padat maupun cair. Dari hasil kegiatan yang telah dilakukan diperoleh adanya peningkatan pengetahuan dan keterampilan mitra dalam mengolah limbah kandang ternak kambing menjadi pupuk fermentasi organik. Kemudian setelah dilakukannya kegiatan pelatihan adanya produk hasil pengolahan limbah kandang ternak kambing berupa pupuk fermentasi organik padat dan pupuk fermentasi organik cair yang siap untuk diaplikasikan dan dipasarkan. Dengan adanya kegiatan pengabdian ini mampu memberikan dampak terhadap pendapatan keluarga mitra kelompok ternak kambing
