Herbal TOGA dan Skrining Penyakit Metabolikdi Desa Nagarawangi
Abstract
Penyakit metabolik seperti diabetes melitus, hipertensi, dan dislipidemia merupakan masalah kesehatan utama di Indonesia. Intervensi promotif-preventif berbasis masyarakat sangat diperlukan, salah satunya melalui edukasi pemanfaatan Tanaman Obat Keluarga (TOGA) dan pelaksanaan skrining kesehatan. Kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan masyarakat tentang pemanfaatan TOGA sebagai alternatif pencegahan penyakit metabolik serta mendeteksi dini faktor risiko metabolik melalui skrining kesehatan. Metode yang digunakan adalah penyuluhan, demonstrasi pembuatan ramuan herbal, serta pemeriksaan kesehatan (tekanan darah, kadar glukosa, kolesterol, dan asam urat). Hasil menunjukkan adanya peningkatan pemahaman masyarakat terhadap manfaat TOGA serta ditemukannya beberapa warga dengan risiko metabolik yang perlu tindak lanjut.
