PENINGKATAN KETERAMPILAN KOMUNIKASI MELALUI PELATIHN PUBLIC SPEAKING BAGI SISWA-SISWI SDK STO. YUSUF WAIPUKANG

Komunikasi yang efektif merupakan aspek krusial dalam pendidikan, terutama dalam membangun kepercayaan diri dan keterampilan berbicara siswa. Kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan keterampilan komunikasi siswa-siswi SDK Sto. Yusuf Waipukang, Kecamatan Ile Ape, melalui pelatihan public speaking. Selama dua hari pelatihan, metode yang digunakan meliputi ceramah, pelatihan langsung, dan praktik berbicara. Hasil observasi menunjukkan adanya peningkatan signifikan dalam keberanian siswa untuk berbicara, meskipun masih terdapat kendala seperti rendahnya kepercayaan diri dan keterbatasan kosa kata. Temuan ini menekankan pentingnya pelatihan yang interaktif dan praktik langsung untuk mengembangkan keterampilan berbicara siswa. Kegiatan ini diharapkan dapat menciptakan budaya komunikasi yang positif di lingkungan sekolah dan memperkuat kemampuan literasi lisan siswa.
