Abstract

Kegiatan Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat (PkM) ini dilaksanakan untuk memperkenalkan media pembelajaran berbasis Artificial Intelligence (AI) yaitu ELSA (English Language Speech Assistant) untuk meningkatkan kualitas pembelajaran Banhasa Inggris kepada guru- guru di SMA Negeri 1 Girsang Sipanganbolon Sumatera Utara, Indonesia. Dalam menghadapi pesatnya perkembangan teknologi digital di abad 21 sekarang, guru dituntut untuk adaptif sehingga dapat menstimulasi siswa untuk melek terhadap pentingnya literasi digital. Metode pelaksanaan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini berupa pelatihan penggunaan aplikasi ELSA (English Language Speech Assistant) bagi guru- guru di SMA Negeri 1 Girsang Sipanganbolon Kabupaten Simalungun yang meliputi ceramah, praktek dan diskusi. Guru sangat antusias mengikuti pelatihan ini dan merasa terbantu dalam proses pengajaran siswa didalam kelas khususnya pada aspek speaking.
